It happens in a blink. A text. A spilled drink. A crying baby in the backseat. One moment of distraction can change a life forever. Every year, distraction on the road leads to injuries, deaths, and billions lost. But the real cost? Lives forever changed.
Distraction is everywhere—behind the wheel, on two wheels, and even on foot. And it’s putting lives at risk. GHSA and State Farm didn’t just want to raise awareness—they set out to build a generation that sees distraction for what it is: a real, preventable danger.
We knew scare tactics wouldn’t work. Lectures wouldn’t stick. So we took a different route. Instead, we met families where they are—juggling, rushing, and multitasking. And we made safety something they’d actually want to talk about.
So we turned the road to safety into an adventure. Inspired by classic children’s books, our digital road trip let families ‘spot the distractions’ through interactive games, family pledges, and parent-teen agreements—making safety a shared journey
